As part of the third year of the “Mainstreaming Knowledge on Ageing” virtual roundtable series, the second event was held under the theme: “The use of new technologies for promoting mental health, accompaniment, and support to improve the lives of older persons.”
This session brought together experts in ageing and technology to discuss innovative digital solutions for addressing mental health challenges and enhancing the well-being of older persons. The event highlighted how technological tools can provide emotional support, companionship, and resources that significantly improve the quality of life for older adults.
This initiative is one of five annual events organized by GIA Longevity in collaboration with UNITAR and other UN agencies, aiming to mainstream knowledge and drive actionable solutions on ageing-related issues.
